Imaginative architectural proposal
Situated on the historical and cultural monument of the Carioca Aqueduct, previously a significant water supply for Rio in the eighteenth century, the Carioca Theatre is designed to re-consider the place and the aqueduct itself. It provides an opportunity for visitor's to play with their perceptions through theatrical devices such as a water-course from inside building to the square.
